A prominent educational institution in York is seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Applicants should be excellent practitioners with a commitment to inclusion and a passion for working with children who have diverse needs. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking teaching assistant to join our friendly, inclusive school, to support SEND children across the school. The role will involve working with children who have a range of complex needs such as ASD, speech and language difficulties or cognition and learning challenges. The role could involve working in our mainstream plus provision or supporting children across the school working in their own classes.
The successful candidate will have a clear commitment to promoting the well‑being of all the children in our care and to raising standards.
