Seeking Resilient and Experienced Support Staff for Specialist Settings in Bury.

We are actively recruiting Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Mentors, and Behaviour Support Mentors to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across the Bury area of Greater Manchester. If you are experienced in complex behaviour support, this 5-day‑a‑week opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and de‑escalate challenging behaviours using established techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex SEMH and behavioural needs, helping them access the curriculum.
  • Assist the teaching staff in preparing resources and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Help maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment.
  • Accurately record and report on student progress, behaviour incidents, and achievement data.
