Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to support children with communication difficulties across multiple community clinics. Qualifications

  • Must have been signed off RCSLT NQP competencies for at least 2 years.
  • Must have completed Royal College of Speech & Language Therapist competencies.
  • Must have experience managing an independent caseload at band 5 level for at least 24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver communication support to children in community clinics.
  • Provide specialist service to children with speech, language and communication difficulties.
  • Develop specialist skills for children with suspected or identified ASD.
  • Supervise junior staff as requested.
  • Develop skills for triage interventions.
