The community Respiratory service offers a range of specialist outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits to provide holistic assessment and treatment for patients with long term respiratory conditions. The service also provides a comprehensive venue based pulmonary rehabilitation program. We are a multidisciplinary team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Our service aims at delivering a multidisciplinary input for comprehensive management of patients with long term respiratory conditions.
The Sutton Community respiratory service consists of a multidisciplinary team offering specialist, comprehensive assessment & intervention. We work with adults in the Sutton area of South West London who have chronic respiratory conditions.
The post holder will be working as part of the MDT in offering structured pulmonary rehabilitation assessments and classes as per local and national guidelines and to undertake timely audit to benchmark the service quality and standards against national QI targets. They will also contribute to home oxygen service assessment and review as well as airway clearance therapy for patients who are under the care of respiratory service.
This is the perfect opportunity for a band 5 or 6 who has some experience and wishes to build on skills in the specialty of Community respiratory service.
