Job description

We are currently a team of 5 Paediatric Dietitians, supported by a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner and team secretarial/admin support. Your caseload will include assessing and providing dietetic care to infants, children and young people with a wide range of health conditions, as well as supporting parents and carers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly innovative Team and to develop the skills to cover many aspects of the Paediatric Dietetic Service, which incorporates close multidisciplinary working with many agencies, including CAMHS and social services, to provide an effective, safe and seamless service. We provide placements for student dietitians in association with the University of Plymouth, and deliver training for acute and community‑based colleagues including health visitors, GPs, nurses and paediatricians. You will be joining an exciting time – as the first fully integrated care organisation in England, we are working to improve the way we deliver safe, high‑quality health and social care. We have a positive and vibrant working atmosphere and are proud of our investment in staff development, valuing people and career potential. If you provide support to a family member or friend with health or care needs, we aim to be a carer‑friendly employer with a ‘Staff Carers’ policy, flexible working where possible and a Carer’s Passport scheme that links you into support and discounts.
