A leading medical institution in Cambridge is seeking a Specialist in Nephrology and Vasculitis for a part-time position. The role involves providing clinical leadership in managing patients with complex autoimmune diseases. Applicants must have at least 12 years of medical experience, including six in a relevant specialty. Proficiency in English and GMC registration are necessary. The position offers a salary ranging from £100,870 to £111,441 pro rata per annum.

Applications are invited for a Specialist in Nephrology and Vasculitis at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a part‑time post (1PA per week).
The appointee will practice as a Specialist in Nephrology, operating autonomously as a senior decision‑maker within the Vasculitis and Glomerular disease service. The post-holder will provide high‑level clinical leadership for patients with complex, multi‑system autoimmune diseases, including the management of long‑term immunosuppression.
You will have completed a minimum of 12 years' medical work (either continuous period or in aggregate) since obtaining a primary medical qualification of which a minimum of six years should have been in a relevant specialty in the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades.
Equivalent years' experience in a relevant specialty from other medical grades including from overseas will also be accepted.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non‑UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
