Act in the role of Competent Person/Responsible Person, as defined by Health Technical Memorandum, for at least two of the following areas:
Candidates must have completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship, be self‑motivated with a desire to develop new skills and flexible to meet the demands of a large acute hospital.

Specialist training and support will be provided where necessary with the chosen candidate required to develop into a skilled maintenance technician who may be required to:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs to the following electrical systems:
Carry out electrical installation works.
The role involves shift working covering the site on a 24/7 basis. The shift rota is based on a 5‑week pattern.
