A leading NHS healthcare provider in Morpeth is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to support clinical pharmacy services in inpatient areas and community treatment teams across various mental health specialities. The role requires an MPharm degree, General Pharmaceutical Council registration, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in mental health is not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided. We are looking for an enthusiastic patient-focused clinical pharmacist looking to develop their clinical knowledge and skills working into our inpatient areas and providing clinical pharmacist support to our community treatment teams across a range of mental health specialities.
Based at locality sites in Morpeth, Northumberland.
Applicants should have excellent communication and team working skills and self-motivation to contribute to the development and delivery of the pharmacy service. We welcome applications from pharmacist colleagues working in all sectors of the profession. Prior working experience in mental health is not essential, as a comprehensive programme of education, training and clinical supervision will be provided. We will support you to provide high quality services to patients and healthcare professionals.
