Job description
Overview

The clinical laboratories within the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital has a vacancy for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist with experience in Haematology and/or Blood Transfusion.

The successful applicant will also be required to undergo additional training in some multi-disciplinary elements of the service.

Dependant on experience of successful applicant they will be expected and supported to undertake the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology with Transfusion.

Conditions and commitments

The post is for 37 hours per week and participation in out of hours is mandatory and subject to agenda for change terms and conditions.

NHS Golden Jubilee is open to considering flexible working options for this role.
