Senior Audiologist (Permanent)

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Audiologist to join our forward-thinking Audiology Team on a permanent basis.

The Adult Audiology Service is based at the Queen's Hospital but also delivers activity at various community locations across Staffordshire. We provide a range of routine and specialist services, including general ENT clinics, specialist otology/tinnitus/balance assessments, hearing rehabilitation, tinnitus management and therapy, and specialist audiological diagnostic investigations.

There will be a requirement to deliver some clinical activity at a range of community locations and therefore a need to have access to a car.

We are a complex only service and therefore provide more opportunities to expand your knowledge and work with a more varied cohort of patients.

As a minimum, you will be expected to be an Audiologist with a BSc (Hons)/MSc in Audiology or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • The successful applicant will join our Team of Audiologists to provide a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative service which will include working with patients with more complex audiological issues. The department also works closely with and provides support for ENT clinics.
  • You will be expected to work across a number of sites, so a willingness to travel/access to a motor vehicle is essential.
  • The post holder may also lead a team working in a specialist area. The post holder will work with the Adult Audiology Lead to ensure that Clinical and Professional standards are maintained at all times.
