Overview

Primary School Teaching Assistant (SEN) in Rochdale (OL16). A Specialist Provision attached to a mainstream Primary (OL16). Multiple full-time and part-time roles available. Short-term and long-term positions available. Varied start dates. Competitive rate 90 - 110 per day.

A Specialist provision within a mainstream Primary school in Rochdale require SEN Teaching Assistants. The school requires staff on short-term and long-term contracts which could be either on a full-time or a part-time basis. The school cater for primary pupils with MLD, ASC, SCLN, SpLD, Visual impairments and HI. They are looking for individuals who are passionate to making a difference with children in Specialist settings. Within these roles, as an SEN Teaching Assistant, your job will involve creating positive relationships with the pupils and encouraging positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers. Role Details
  • Long-term roles available.
  • Full-time positions: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:00pm.
  • Required to commit to the school on a long-term basis and are interested in securing a permanent role.
  • Short-term roles available: Part-time and/or full-time positions with varied/ad-hoc days (e.g., 8:30am-1:00pm, 12:00pm-3:30pm, 8:30am-3:30pm, 4:00pm).
  • Covering emergency/scheduled absences.
