Teaching Assistant

A nurturing and friendly three-form entry junior school in Havering are looking to welcome talented Teaching Assistants to their team in September 2025.

Classroom Assistants here are 'go-getters'. The SENDCO has worked hard to build a team of committed and able support staff, willing to be flexible and often support outside of their remit. By way of return, the leadership team are understanding and respectful of their team.

The school are excited to hire new staff to be based within the Key Stage 2, to support the new intake of children with additional needs. The Classroom Assistant would need to have experience of supporting children with ASC, and SEMH.

Working hours here are (Apply online only) with a 45 minute break in total. The school is accessible from both Romford and Newbury park stations

Requirements
  • Experience of supporting children within a formal learning environment
  • Previous experience of supporting children and young adults within the care sector
  • A fully enhanced DBS registered to the update service, along with 2 professional references.
