Overview

Part Time or Full Time Specialist in Special Care Dentistry required for 15 hours per week in a busy, mixed, well established practice near Bodmin, Cornwall.

Responsibilities

• Delivering treatment in a thoughtful, personalised way built around individual needs
• Working with patients who face barriers to accessing care
• Providing dental care to special care adults and young people
• Undertaking the delivery of dentistry services using conscious sedation techniques
• Providing dental care under general anaesthesia if appropriately trained
• Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues with special care patients

Qualifications

• GDC registration, without conditions, with experience or a strong interest in Special Care Dentistry
• A calm, flexible mindset with a real passion for inclusive dentistry
• Great communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues across disciplines
