We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Bartender Supervisor to elevate the guest experience in our Spa Sitting Room. Your role in our family:
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, warm, and intuitive service to all guests, creating a calm and nurturing atmosphere that reflects our spa’s wellness philosophy.
- Oversee and support the bar team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and motivating colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring the bar is appropriately staffed for all trading periods while maintaining team wellbeing and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the crafting and serving of high‑quality drinks, including wellness‑focused cocktails, herbal infusions, teas, and premium spirits.
- Maintain a tranquil, clean, and beautifully organised bar space that supports the overall spa experience.
- Provide thoughtful, knowledgeable recommendations on beverages that complement guests’ wellness journeys.
- Uphold and champion Sopwell House’s standards of luxury, serenity, and holistic hospitality.
- Take pride in elegant presentation and attention to detail, ensuring every drink and interaction enhances guest wellbeing.
- Support, guide, and motivate your colleagues, fostering a positive, mindful, and collaborative team culture.
- Be flexible and available for morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or bar supervision within luxury hospitality or spa environments.
- Strong bartending and barista skills, with the ability to craft both classic and wellness‑focused beverages.
- Confident leadership abilities, supporting and guiding the bar team to deliver exceptional service.
- Excellent communication skills, with a calm, professional approach to guest interactions and complaint handling.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail in bar presentation, stock management, and operational efficiency.
