Responsibilities

As Spa Manager, you will take day-to‑day responsibility for the reception desk, diary management and general spa operations, including overseeing the team of Therapists, Receptionists & any General Assistants. Your aim will be to continually surpass customer expectations and to lead the team to deliver the very best in guest experience. You will share your personal passion and knowledge to develop the team, encouraging personal progression and training opportunities. You will contribute to driving sales and revenue, budget management, stock control and reporting on the Spa's financial performance, to include treatments, retail and membership.

Qualifications
  • Progressed from a therapist background into spa management within a luxury spa or hotel.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to maximise revenues through diary management and therapist utilisation.
  • Basic understanding of weekly revenue, forecasting, budgeting and payroll controls.
  • Superb attention to detail and a drive to deliver exceptional standards.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills capable of nurturing, developing and inspiring staff.
  • Previous experience in training and developing staff and a passionate advocate for apprenticeships and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work regular weekends, given that this is our peak trading period.
  • Most important is to understand a luxury spa environment and to inspire & motivate a team to deliver a '5 bubble spa rating' guest experience.
