Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Uxbridge seeks a skilled Sous Chef to enhance their culinary team. The role demands expertise in meal preparation and strong leadership, especially during the Head Chef's absence. Preference is given to candidates with previous Sous Chef experience or those ready to move up from Chef de Partie. The position offers £16.91 per hour and 40 hours per week in a supportive work environment with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie ready to progress.
  • Solid understanding of allergens, compliance and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef with kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and serve well-presented dishes.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team as needed.
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute menu ideas and improvements.
  • Assist with stock control and ordering.
