We undertake a variety of examinations for ED, inpatients, outpatients and GP patients including urology, baby hips, MSK, vascular, gynae and soft tissue. We also offer ultrasound access for ambulatory services such as Stroke and Same Day Urgent Care. Our department performs a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including General Abdominal, Gynaecological, Small Parts, Musculoskeletal, Vascular, Neonatal Hip ultrasound examinations and Inpatients. Please note that Obstetric Ultrasound is managed by a separate Department. We recently opened a Community Diagnostic Centre at Andover and, as part of the role, you will be expected to participate in student Sonographer training and support the service as it develops.
Locations of service include Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Andover Community Diagnostic Centre, and Alton Community Hospital.
