Solicitor - Real Estate - Bristol - 2-4 Years PQE

Location: Bristol

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

You will join a highly regarded team working across a broad range of real estate matters, with particular focus on:

  • Residential led development
  • Strategic land development projects
  • Commercial development and regeneration
  • Investment and asset management for national and regional property companies
  • Advisory work for owner/occupier clients
  • Natural capital projects including biodiversity net gain, water neutrality and nutrient neutrality
  • Both contentious and non contentious agricultural matters
Recent work highlights include:
  • Advising a national land promoter on multiple strategic land promotion agreements
  • Acting on the promotion of a 250+ acre Sussex site delivering up to 1,500 homes plus education, leisure and care facilities
  • Supporting habitat bank operators on conservation covenants and natural capital mitigation projects
  • Advising household name occupiers on asset management, portfolio expansion and estate restructuring
  • Acting for Further Education Colleges on leases, charges, sales and redevelopment matters
  • Advising on the acquisition and development of a major mixed use gateway site in Leicester valued at approximately £50m
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • Around 2-4 years PQE in residential or commercial development, or general commercial property
  • A clear enthusiasm for real estate work and delivering excellent client outcomes
  • Confidence to hit the ground running and manage matters under pressure
  • Strong technical, drafting and organisational skills
  • A pragmatic, solutions focused approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team development
  • Interest in business development and staying up to date with legal developments
