Our projects divisions cover all aspects of delivery of energy projects for the public sector, industrial and commercial clients. The Solar Design Engineer will work within the team to formulate, evaluate and prepare technical analysis and specification of public sector, industrial and commercial schemes during feasibility studies, scheme design and project implementation.
The Solar Design Engineer will assist in the trial and development of new products and technology.
The Solar Design Engineer will have a good level of technical expertise, have a sound track record, and the role will involve complex technical duties and business support activities

From time to time the Solar Design Engineer will be required to work with the Sales Development team and assist in the end-to-end completion of high quality proposals, quotations, bids and tender responses, which are both technically and commercially compliant with the client’s specifications.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and have a flexible approach to work. They should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work under pressure and complete within deadlines. They should be able to communicate effectively with non-finance people in a friendly and courteous manner, establishing and maintaining good working relationships with Clients and colleagues at all levels. The job requires the ability to work well as part of a team but also independently using their own initiative where appropriate.
