As a Software Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities for our workplace AI platform. You'll combine a consultative approach with strong commercial drive, working closely with technical, product, and marketing teams to demonstrate value, deliver proof-of-concepts, and convert prospects into long-term customers. Aiimi is looking for an experienced Software Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who thrives in generating new relationships in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited by the potential of AI and data technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a sales strategy for your area of focus, providing a clear indication of target clients with established account plans.
- Develop a detailed understanding of Aiimi's suite of products under the AI workplace platform and articulate these when responding to client challenges.
- Identify and network around key decision makers and stakeholders to understand business challenges to generate business opportunities against the Aiimi product list.
- Generate and thoroughly qualify leads using frameworks such as BANT, using questioning techniques and other relevant strategies.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline of mid-market and enterprise prospects.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand client challenges and position Workplace AI effectively.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including demos, RFPs, pricing, and contract negotiation, adhering to Aiimi business processes.
- Ensure that all sales activity is fully documented in HUBSPOT in line with appropriate business processes.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to client needs, with support from pre-sales Solution Engineers.
- Ensure collaboration with all internal teams, SIS, engineering, pre-sales and marketing to ensure that sales opportunities are viable, solutioned appropriately and can be implemented in line with the relevant playbooks.
- Effectively map organisational hierarchies and structures and build trusted relationships with senior CXO level stakeholders including IT, data, compliance, and business leaders.
- Proactively identify buying signals and consistently respond to opportunities that present themselves through relationship development.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships that support upselling and expansion.
- Present sales opportunities to the internal Aiimi decision makers to ensure buy in and alignment to the product portfolio.
- Work with Product and Customer Success teams to provide feedback on market insights and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation strategies.
- Stay informed on AI, data governance, and search-driven insight trends to effectively articulate product value.
- Build a reputation for consistently delivering through building relationships, your responsiveness and reliability.
- Represent Aiimi at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B SaaS or software sales, ideally in data management, enterprise search, or AI/ML domains.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and closing deals with mid-size to enterprise clients.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to understand and solve business and technical challenges.
- Excellent storytelling skills with presentation and communication, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience selling to regulated industries (e.g. financial services, public sector, utilities).
- Familiarity with data platforms, enterprise content management, or information governance solutions.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, and data discovery technologies.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape in insight engines, enterprise search, or data classification tools.
