Are you the one that’s going to take care of GCP (Golang oriented) microservices to serve data in the most reliable and scalable way? Are you that committed, pro‑active and analytic team player who is eager to learn new techniques and loves to have a good laugh every now and then? Then this great team would like to get to know you. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our Assortment team.

What is your role?
  • You will be working in a SCRUM team building new features.
  • You will test new technologies for the team.
  • You will analyze feature requests and write stories out of it.
  • You come up with improvements for our software and help with solving bugs in existing tools and services.
  • You will take part in international projects related to master data management and content.
  • Operating within Agile SCRUM Methodologies and utilizing the Atlassian toolchain (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Git) for effective collaboration.
Your team

You will join a team of 6 developers and one product owner who both maintain the STIBO STEP application and micro services in our e‑business platform. The team is end‑to‑end responsible for bringing product data from STEP to our e‑business platform. You will mainly work on the microservices in close collaboration with the other developers. We operate a fully cloud‑based environment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP); we primarily work with Golang, and in some cases Java, enabling us to directly shape the user experience and drive impactful results. Being a part of our international and cross‑functional Customer Journey teams, combining Business Analysis, Data Science, and Software Development.

Who are you?
  • You have 5+ years’ experience with software development.
  • You have experience with Golang or willingness to develop your skills in this language.
  • You have experience with or like to learn Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Skilled in working with diverse storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experienced across the full software development lifecycle and ready to own it end‑to‑end.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Agile development frameworks (Scrum).
  • You maintain high quality standards in the output and encourage others to meet similar standards. You consistently evaluate work to achieve excellent data driven results.
  • You take a co‑operative approach within the team, sharing knowledge and information. You seek to promote harmony within the team and contribute to processes.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
