Job description

You will work as a Software Development Engineer in the Hospital Patient Monitoring Team, and you will be working in an Agile environment responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for our new Real-time Patient Monitoring platform using technologies including .NET Framework, C#, React, GraphQL, Postgres, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop software in a highly motivated software development team focused on the creation of our next generation patient monitoring systems.
  • Translate user requirements into innovative solutions using the latest technology.
  • Write clear specifications, create detailed technical designs, and implement creative software solutions.
  • Review code and provide technical feedback and direction.
  • Design and develop software components considering elasticity, scalability, reliability, interoperability, security, serviceability & networking needs.
  • Deliver software modules and components meeting the requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related technology.
  • Ability to architect, design, code, and test complex solutions and possess solid understanding of object-oriented software development concepts and methodologies.
  • 3+ years of strong working experience with C#, Microsoft .NET development expertise.
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Experience with cloud services: AWS.

Location & Attendance

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week. Compensation and Benefits

Philips Transparency Details: The pay range for this position in (Cambridge, MA) is $126,000 to $201,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
