Job description

Software Developer (Camunda) - Contract role - Hybrid working/London - £400.00 per day

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Software Developer to work at a leading consultancy client of ours on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering team and will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of business process automation solutions using the Camunda BPM platform.

Responsibilities
  • Integrate Camunda with microservices, REST APIs, and external systems.
  • Develop custom Java delegates and external task workers.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement BPMN workflows
  • Optimise and troubleshoot existing Camunda workflows and deployments.
  • Maintain documentation for workflows, decision tables, and integration points.
Experience required
  • A significant background in software development, which includes demonstrable experience in using Camunda BPM, ideally up to version 7 or 8.
  • Back End software development skills using Java, Spring Boot and RESTful API's.
  • Working knowledge of BPMN and DMN standards
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (including AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Previous experience in the financial sector would be desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
