Role Overview

My client, a notable Property Company/Managing Agent, is looking for a Building Manager/Operations Manager – Soft Services to oversee operations of a 450,000 sq ft site. You will work closely with a wider team that includes the General Manager and Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Operate day‑to‑day management of a large site and its tenant community.
  • Engage with end users (tenants) and foster clear communication, both written and verbal.
  • Mobilise new service partners, coordinate customer engagement, and activate space for events and tenant activities.
  • Set and manage service charge budgets and liaise with finance teams.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance by overseeing safety policies and procedures.
  • Utilise the building app and other digital tools to maintain tenant engagement.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing a site of similar scale.
  • Knowledge of service charge budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Expertise in health and safety, with IOSH or NEBOSH certification required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
