What You Will Do:

Lead and manage the Kinship & Post Order Support Team, ensuring high-quality assessment, support, and supervision for children and families.

Supervise an Assistant Team Manager and a team of social workers, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards.

Conduct high-quality assessments of kinship carers, supporting the safe placement of vulnerable children within their families.

Deliver comprehensive Special Guardianship Support Services, enabling families to provide excellent care throughout a child’s life.

Foster effective partnership working with Council services and partner agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.

Contribute to the council’s vision for Children’s Social Care, meeting strategic objectives and priorities.

Demonstrate proficiency across the Professional Capabilities Framework at Advanced Social Worker level and apply knowledge of the Skills Statement for practice supervisors.
