Job summary

Qualifications

  • Qualified and experienced Social Worker.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection procedures.
  • Ability to travel to visit clients and attend meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload ensuring children's needs are met.
  • Prepare written reports including child protection conference reports.
  • Undertake child and family assessments when required.

Skills

Good working knowledge of services relevant to children
Understanding of safeguarding
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Motivational Interviewing
Ability to chair meetings
Proactive engagement with partner agencies
