Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a Social Worker for Children with Disabilities to provide integrated support across Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea. The ideal candidate will have a Social Work qualification recognized by Social Work England and experience working with vulnerable children. Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

As a Social Worker within our Bi-Borough Children with Disabilities Family Help Service, you will work with children and families across Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea. This integrated service combines statutory social work and Family Help short breaks.

Your responsibilities will include: Fulfilling all statutory processes, including assessment, child protection, safeguarding, and looked-after children procedures. Working collaboratively with Family Help colleagues to deliver effective, integrated support. Engaging children and families in planning and implementing care strategies. Representing the local authority as corporate parent for looked-after children. What We're Looking For Experience: Working with vulnerable children and families under statutory guidance, ideally within local authority children's services. Knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, and multi-agency collaboration. Skills: Strong communication, report writing, and organisational skills. Ability to assess needs and risks, and implement SMART action plans. Qualifications: Social Work qualification recognised by Social Work England and current registration.
