Exciting New Opportunity - Qualified Social Worker (Child Protection)

Details

• Location: Derbyshire County Council (commutable from surrounding areas incl. Hull)
• Rate: Up to £25.80/hour (Umbrella)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• You will be working within a Child Protection team, supporting children and families through:
• Section 47 enquiries
• Court proceedings & legal documentation
• Managing Children Looked After (CLA) cases
• Working within a multi-agency safeguarding framework
• Attending legal planning meetings and case conferences

Essential Requirements

• ????️ SWE Registration
• Minimum 3 years permanent experience in a UK Local Authority
• Strong background in Child Protection, Court Work & CLA
• Confident with court reports, assessments & safeguarding processes
• Able to start immediately or within 1-2 weeks
