Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of major equipment and adaptation cases of varying complexity and diversity for disabled children and young people.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, make recommendations, and oversee evaluations and approvals.
  • Prepare detailed reports to ensure the needs of your client group are met within available resources, adhering to Directorate and Corporate policy, strategies, and standards.
  • Provide expert professional advice and guidance to colleagues in the Directorate, as well as multiagency staff, to inform and enhance decision-making processes regarding appropriate service provision.
Requirements
  • Holding a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy is essential.
  • You need recent UK experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably having worked within the NHS.
  • Registration with the HCPC is a must.
