A top-performing secondary school in Westminster is seeking a dedicated Social Science Teacher for a full-time role, focusing on A Level Psychology and Sociology. We’re working with a top-performing secondary school, rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted, to find a dedicated Social Science Teacher to join their thriving sixth form and wider humanities faculty.
Students here show exceptional attitudes to learning and pride in their progress. You’ll join a school that balances high standards with a real commitment to staff well-being and development.
Teach Social Sciences across the 11–18 age range, with a focus on A Level Psychology, A Level Sociology, and/or BTEC Health & Social Care
Create and develop schemes of work, lesson resources, and revision materials
Deliver engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students
Contribute to a collaborative department committed to curriculum innovation and exam success
Support students to achieve excellent academic outcomes and nurture their wider personal development
A well-qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Social Sciences
Confident delivering exam and/or coursework-based qualifications
Able to teach at least two of the following: A Level Psychology, A Level Sociology, BTEC Health & Social Care
Skilled at building rapport, raising aspirations, and influencing learning outcomes
Collaborative, organised, and committed to professional growth
Pay rate dependent on qualifications and experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
