Overview

Position title: Social Media - Specialist

Universal Web Design is a multi-award-winning digital marketing company based in Colchester, Essex. The company serves over 600 clients, with the majority being Essex-based and some national, international and global clients. The role is part-time with on-site parking and client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • General Work Tasks: Creating social media accounts, producing social media updates, using content management systems, liaising with clients, sourcing suitable images for social media, increasing the following of social media accounts, developing engagement within social media accounts, driving traffic to customers websites from social media, assessing social media reports/Google Analytics reports, monitoring user activity on websites, keeping an eye on social media posts, understanding social media engagement, responding to social media posts, addressing negative reviews and growing positive reviews, increasing conversion rates, and tracking click-throughs.
  • Expectations: Look after up to 200 social media clients; keep customers up to date with their account and progression; inform clients of profile improvements; help businesses generate more sales/enquiries online; ensure customers are always happy; ensure content is high quality; images are clear, clean, smart and brand-related; written information is grammatically correct; attend business networking events; build a strong and loyal customer base.
