Overview

Canapii are recruiting for a Social Media Marketing Manager to help support a fast-growing, leading and highly respected Virtual and hybrid event solution provider. We are looking for someone who is passionate, ambitious, motivated, and confident!

Role and Responsibilities

The Social Media Marketing Manager is a key person in charge of executing the company’s marketing strategies across all social media and similar platforms available. We need an innovative, creative and outside-the-box thinker – someone who can identify and experiment with different marketing strategies and channels. Your role is to help the team to translate the key business objectives to different marketing strategies.

Skills and Experience
  • Understand the global and local relevance of Canapii’s businesses and brand in the markets where we operate
  • Listen and reply to relevant customer/consumer comments and questions
  • Identify opportunities for engagement with the social media audience
  • Help shape and optimize all available resources to support social media campaigns
  • Utilize a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
  • Monitor and support crisis or issues on social media/digital channels
  • Provide reports and insights on live campaigns and general brand engagement opportunities to improve response rates on social media
  • Collaborate with other department managers, social media and digital teams across Shell, to ensure consistency in tone and messaging
  • Share learnings with wider teams and help reinforce the importance of community management across the company
  • Work in partnership with the Social Content Strategist and Digital Spokesperson to ensure alignment across CR teams
  • Knowledge about using CRMs for social media marketing, content management, web analytics, landing pages and search engine optimization
Employment details

You will currently be working within a hybrid model for this position. We are looking for someone based in London/Reading, UK, and that can switch between working remotely (80% of the time) and in-office (20% of the time).
