As Uprated continues to expand, we are looking to welcome a Social Media Executive to join our talented team and work with our growing list of clients, many of which are household names. If you love all things in the world of social, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver outstanding campaigns.
Our clients predominantly sit in the ecommerce, food, beauty, travel and outdoors sectors, so you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and engage with a wide range of audiences.
You will develop a deep understanding of our clients, their products, marketing activities, competition and industries, being able to translate client requirements and develop social strategies to achieve exceptional results.
Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, this is a fast‑paced environment that is both demanding and fulfilling. Uprated will also depend on you to give accounts and projects direction, whilst maintaining a clear strategy to achieve the very best outcome for our clients.
We offer a relaxed office environment in the centre of Bournemouth, minutes from the beach, bars and restaurants. This role will offer flexible options for splitting time between the office and working remotely.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
This role includes working in our digital marketing team within the agency and will include taking responsibility for the following activities:
- Deliver outstanding social media campaigns that provide exceptional results for our clients, using data‑driven decisions to optimise performance and ensure that all activity meets client targets.
- Manage social media content, including copywriting, editing, and publishing content for clients, working to a set tone of voice and aligned to brand guidelines, whilst tailoring content to suit different channels.
- Work with our creative team to create best‑in‑class social content and asset creation for highly impactful campaigns.
- Contribute to campaign ideation sessions, bringing fresh creative ideas for content and social strategy.
- Manage community engagement and moderation, including answering questions, responding to comments and engaging with audiences.
- Create and deliver meaningful social reporting and insights, ensuring you are rigorously tracking the performance of all content and enabling this data to be fed into future channel strategies.
- Monitor changes in the marketplace to ensure a strong understanding of industry news, trends and best practices across organic social channels
Required Skills & Experience
If you have the following skills, we’d love to hear from you.
- At least 3 years of strong and demonstrable experience (working either agency or client‑side) of creating brilliant social media content for brands and managing all key social media channels including; Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience with video editing software such as CapCut, to edit simple, short‑form content for social media
- Strong interest in social media, able to spot new trends early and adapt them into relevant, brand‑aligned content.
- Exceptional copywriting and communication skills. You must be able to convey key messages and craft original and engaging content with creative copy, aligning to client tone of voice and brand guidelines.
- Proven experience in community management across multiple social channels.
- Extensive hands‑on experience in using publishing, monitoring and reporting tools such as Sprout Social and native reporting such as Facebook Business Suite.
- Experience in report creation and delivery.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise, solve problems and deliver results.
- Capacity to juggle multiple campaigns effectively.
- Proactive work ethic & highly motivated.
- Passion for all things digital and harbouring a real interest in social media platform changes and news, keeping up to date with ever‑changing industry trends.
