About Us

Apothecary 87 is a modern men’s grooming brand built around bold scents, quality products, and authentic confidence. From our barbershop & concept store at The Yorkshire Hive, we create more than just grooming routines, we build experiences. Now, we’re looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media Content Creator to help us tell that story daily.

The Role

You’ll be the creative mind behind our social media content filming, editing, and posting content that reflects the vibe of the brand and the community we’ve built. Most of the work will be in person at our shop, capturing real moments, fresh cuts, new product drops, and everything in between.

This is a Self-Employed Role with an estimated pay of £500-£750 a week based on hours worked

What You’ll Do:
  • Shoot and edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Capture photo content in and around the barbershop and concept store
  • Work closely with our barbers, team, and customers to film authentic moments
  • Develop and pitch creative content ideas that align with upcoming campaigns and product launches
  • Post and manage day-to-day social content with an eye on engagement and trends
  • Occasionally travel for brand events or off-site shoots
What We’re Looking For:
  • A strong portfolio of video and photo content (social-first)
  • Experience creating for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Confident shooting on your own camera or smartphone (DSLR experience is a bonus)
  • Comfortable filming in-person with people and directing casual content
  • A good eye for aesthetics and storytelling that fits the Apothecary 87 brand
  • Knowledge of current trends in men’s style, grooming, and social media culture
  • Based locally or able to reliably work in person at The Yorkshire Hive
Bonus Points If You:
  • Have experience working with grooming, fashion, or lifestyle brands
  • Know your way around editing apps/software like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, or similar
  • Have a sense of humour, a sharp eye for style, and aren\'t afraid to get involved in the creative process
