We are looking for a Legal Assistant to work in our Adult Social Care team. You will primarily be providing legal assistance to a team of adult social care lawyers on a variety of matters relating to but not limited to the Care Act , Mental Health Act , Mental Capacity Act , and Court of Protection cases. You will also have the opportunity to manage your own caseload of Court of Protection matters, whilst working with a lawyer with conduct. We are looking for a candidate who can work flexibly and collaboratively within a high-pressure environment. In return, you will be supported to develop your skills in a nurturing environment.
There are also opportunities to develop further your management and leadership skills if you are looking to go into senior management within SLLP, including developing your skills in corporate governance, as SLLP are keen to encourage staff to become our leaders of the future.
