We are pleased to be working with a truly independent brokerage who have been trading successfully for over 50 years based in South Yorkshire

They havea local presence in and around the North of England providing apersonal service to all of their clients developing new business opportunities through recommendations, referrals and also servicing all types of SME to medium size enterprise businesses.

This position offers successful candidates to really learn and develop their skills within a commercial insurance environment working with G.I risk. The role will include mainly internal work and some external client visits where necessary.

Ideal candidates should have 2 to 3 years commercial insurance experience and be currently either working within a broking or underwriting environment. This role would offer a great opportunity for less experienced candidates to make the "next step up" and make a real impact within a smaller office environment. It is essential that you can communicate well at all levels and also have a can-do attitude and be proactive in your approach. The role with include presenting risks to the insurer markets and building and maintaining underwriter relationships to ensure you are getting the best deals/terms for the client.
