Job summary

Overview

Insight is supporting a Charity in Stanmore Middlesex to appoint a Small Capital Works Surveyor to join their team.

The client is looking for someone who will take control of the capital works programme and backlog maintenance across the portfolio, they have £1.6m committed to these works.

Responsibilities
  • 116 acres site with 14 care homes and other buildings including hydrotherapy pool, offices etc.
  • Works will be based around kitchens, bathrooms, heating, lighting, flooring, windows etc. You will need to understand CDM regulations, be able to write specifications and tender documents when needed.
  • Place business, get start dates, communicate between their department and the homes to keep everyone updated on live sites, seeing projects through to progression.
Qualifications
  • Have a degree in Building Surveying.
  • Have experience within Small Capital Works.
  • Be willing to travel between sites.
Desired
  • MRICS or MCIOB member.
