Job summary

Skilled Welder

Location: Telford

Duration: Temporary (ongoing)

Salary: circa £15 - £18 per hour depending on experience

Hours of work: Monday - Friday

We are looking for a skilled Mig /Tig Welder to join a Telford based fabrication business to provide some temporary cover potentially for the rest of 2025. You will be working as part of a small fabrication business in a friendly environment.

Main Duties

• Fabricating specialised stainless-steel components
• Using Mig and Tig welding techniques
• Performing regular weld quality checks
• Fabricate parts according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

• Previous experience and knowledge of both MIG and TIG Welding Techniques is ESSENTIAL
• Experience of working with Stainless Steel and/or aluminium is ESSENTIAL
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent eye for detail
• MUST be available for an immediate start
