Join a team that helps create the foundation of everything we do. At Yeo Valley, we’re proud of our world‑class products and the people who make them. Right now, we’re looking for a hands‑on, reliable Skilled Operator to join our Production Team at our Cannington facility.

As a key player in the production process, you’ll be responsible for the accurate preparation and packing of our product – the critical base of our product line. Your role will involve operating mixing equipment, monitoring quality standards, maintaining hygiene protocols, and ensuring efficient, on‑time supply to downstream production.

At the heart of our business is a deep connection to nature and a pledge to nurturing our people. As a co‑owned company, we believe in supporting every team member as both a sponsor and a co‑owner. You'll be part of a workplace that values care—for our environment, our products, and most importantly, for each other. We grow stronger together by creating a culture where respect, wellbeing, and development are part of everyday life.

The shifts follow a 4 on 4 off working pattern between 06:00‑18:00.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Operate and maintain milk mixing systems and associated equipment
  • Accurately follow mixing recipes and production schedules
  • Conduct routine quality checks and maintain batch records
  • Collaborate with production and QA teams to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and general plant support
Essential
  • Good team working skills
  • Able to undertake manual tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication
  • Relevant work experience as a machine Operator in a production environment
Desirable
  • Basic Food hygiene
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Engineering skillset
Why should I join the family?

  • non‑contributory pension scheme
  • life cover
  • healthcare cash back plan
  • cycle to work scheme
  • subsidised Yeo Valley products and services
