Dewey Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Welder for a piling project based in Weston-super-Mare, working on the welding of permanent steel casings.

This position is offered on an initial contract, with the potential for long-term ongoing work, subject to performance and project requirements.

Role Details :

• Location : Weston-super-Mare
• Project Type : Piling – permanent steel casing welding
• Contract : Initial contract with potential for long-term ongoing work
• Hours : 50 hours per week + availbale
• Additional opportunities for overtime and weekend work where required

Key Responsibilities :

• Welding permanent steel casings for piling operations
• Carrying out on-site welding in line with project specifications and method statements
• Ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality
• Working closely with piling operatives, supervisors, and site management
• Complying with all site health & safety requirements

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Site Welder on construction or civil engineering projects
• Experience welding steel casings for piling works preferred
• Relevant welding qualifications / certifications
• Strong understanding of health and safety on site
• Ability to work long hours and be flexible with shifts
• Valid right to work in the UK
