A leading construction firm is looking for a Site Surveyor based in Enfield. This role involves managing commercial outputs and ensuring cost control within projects. The ideal candidate will have strong financial awareness and communication skills, able to build relationships with clients and internal teams. Additionally, candidates should have relevant experience in a Surveyor role and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
The Vacancy
Wates have an opportunity for a Site Surveyor to join our team within the Reactive Division, working across various projects. You’ll be based out of our Enfield office. This role focuses on producing commercial outputs, monitoring cost control, and liaising with client representatives to ensure compliance with contractual service standards — all to help the company operate efficiently and profitably.
We’re looking for someone with financial and commercial awareness and a strong commitment to customer-centred service.
To succeed, you’ll need relevant commercial skills and experience, including the ability to maximise value recovery, control costs, and manage cash flow effectively. You should also be confident using financial reports and software.
You’ll be a strong communicator, able to build relationships with clients, Project Surveyors, internal teams, and the supply chain. The role involves working between office, site, and some home working.
