Overview

Location: Customer Site, Bristol, UK

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Monday-Tuesday: 8am-4pm, Wednesday-Friday: 12pm-8pm)

Are you a customer-focused Electromechanical Engineer looking for a dynamic site-based role?

Role purpose

Site Engineer to join the service team at a key customer site in Bristol. Deliver first-class engineering support and build strong relationships with the customer. Focus on problem-solving, exceptional service, and working with cutting-edge equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform methodical diagnosis, repair, and testing of electromechanical equipment to achieve a speedy first-time fix on all breakdowns.
  • Conduct planned and preventative maintenance in strict accordance with OEM requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory, and all service reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with all CPS and customer Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the customer, acting as a representative of our client in daily interactions and meetings.
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for service, reliability, and performance improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Educated to a Mechanical/Electrical Degree, Diploma level, Apprenticeship essential
  • Strong PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • An electrical qualification is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A highly professional, flexible, and positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
