Job description

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity at Carlsberg Britvic, where you'll oversee safe, compliant, and efficient site operations from raw material receipt through to finished goods handover. You'll be responsible for developing managers and technicians, embedding global standards, and driving continuous improvement through Carlsberg Excellence methodologies. As part of the senior management team, you'll help shape country strategy, deliver performance and sustainability targets, and ensure product quality meets group standards. With full accountability for end-to-end site operations within agreed budgets, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on people, performance, and the future success of Carlsberg Britvic.

Responsibilities
  • Lead with vision and purpose, motivating teams to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
  • Drive people development and succession planning, aligning workforce planning with demand and seasonality while managing headcount budgets.
  • Apply Lean and Excellence methodologies to resolve performance gaps and lead site strategy development in collaboration with supply chain and country management teams.
  • Ensure key operational KPIs (OEE, RFT, losses, utilities, sensory scores, accident rates) are clearly understood and effectively managed.
  • Ensure compliance with Group and local HR processes, organisational structures, and agreements.
  • Oversee performance management processes, ensuring appraisals and development plans are delivered to group standards.
  • Guarantee adherence to standardised meeting structures, reporting systems, and Carlsberg production standards through active process confirmation.
  • Define and manage site financial budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) with accountability and rigour.
  • Establish and monitor site KPIs, ensuring alignment with group priorities and promoting best practice sharing across sites and counterparts.
  • Uphold compliance with Group standards while supporting production initiatives such as value engineering, new product development, and capital projects.
Qualifications
  • Extensive leadership experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or a relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, develop teams, and deliver measurable performance improvements.
  • Proven success in applying Lean and Carlsberg Excellence methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Track record of building collaboration and fostering a "one-team" culture across functions and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, influence constructively, and inspire others.
  • Experience in talent development, coaching, and succession planning aligned to organisational goals.
  • Skilled in setting clear, ambitious objectives and ensuring delivery through effective planning and execution.
