Job summary

A leading engineering resources firm is seeking an experienced Site Materials & Logistics Manager to oversee materials management and logistics for a new build power generation project in the Midlands. Responsibilities include coordinating material flow, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting the construction team for efficient operations. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in large-scale logistics management, possess a relevant qualification, and have excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Materials or Logistics Manager on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of construction materials and heavy plant logistics.
• Experience with ERP or materials tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Manage all site-based materials handling and distribution activities.
• Implement the site logistics plan and delivery scheduling.
• Oversee the receipt and inspection of all incoming materials.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure materials availability.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and deliveries.
