A well-established groundworks company based in Devon is seeking an experienced Site Manager. You will oversee the delivery of groundworks packages and manage team activities, ensuring Health and Safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in project management within residential groundworks, holding relevant certifications. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business aiming for significant turnover growth.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience as a lead Site Manager.
  • Management of residential groundworks projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

  • Oversee delivery of groundworks packages.
  • Collaborate with the project coordinator.
  • Manage daily team activities and quality controls.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and create Method Statements.

With a strong existing business who are looking to increase their turnover by 25% over the next 3 years, there is no better time to join! They are South West based, geographically with more of a presence across Devon, Somerset and Dorset.

Responsibilities
  • Lead for the delivery of the groundworks packages, in coordination with a wider team for a successful overall project delivery
  • Work closely with the PC to ensure correct works checks are completed.
  • Manage the daily activities of the team, in respect of Health and Safety, quality controls and programme management
  • Manage Risk Assessments & Method Statements
Qualifications

Ideally, you'll have at least 5-10 years managing projects as the lead Site Manager, and residential groundworks experience is a MUST! You will also need your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
