Core Group are looking for a Site Manager to Join a leading Tier 1 construction contractor recognised for delivering high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across commercial, education & healthcare sectors. The Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on high-profile fit out and refurbishment projects. This role would suit a hands‑on, organised, and safety‑focused professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can manage stakeholders with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce WHS policies
• Monitor progress, prepare site reports, and maintain project documentation
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager regarding scheduling, risks and design queries
• Ensure compliance with Tier 1 quality, safety, and environmental management systems
• Proactively resolve on-site issues and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit out and/or refurbishment projects (Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and WHS regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight project timeframes
• Trade background or relevant construction qualifications highly regarded
