Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to deliver site-based management of mechanical projects on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider.

This is a fantastic short-term opportunity to lead mechanical works across live sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical installation works including HVAC, pipework, and associated building services.
• Manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards (RAMS, site inductions, toolbox talks, etc.).
• Monitor project progress and report updates to project stakeholders.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, and schedules to meet programme targets.
• Maintain accurate site records and ensure QA documentation is completed.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing mechanical projects in a Site Manager capacity.
• SMSTS certification.
• Strong mechanical background (HVAC, plumbing, pipework).
• CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work (preferred).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on site.

Contract Details

• Day Rate : £280.00 (Ltd / CIS depending on setup).
• Location : Southampton.
• Start Date : 1st November 2025.
• End Date : End of December 2025.
