Job summary

A civil engineering company in Coventry is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee multiple civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, particularly with reinforced concrete and bridge structures, along with relevant certifications. The role requires strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, and a commitment to safety standards. Work duration is anticipated between 12 to 24 months, with negotiable rates depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with RC projects and within Site Management roles.
• Experience working on Bridge and Structures.
• CSCS Manager card, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work.

Overview

Straight-Line Civils are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager with a background in Engineering and Reinforced Concrete to work across two sites in Coventry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement changes as necessary to keep projects on track
• Work closely with the document controller ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations

Qualifications / Ideal Candidate

• Has significant experience with RC projects and within Site Management roles
• Experience working on Bridge and Structures
• CSCS Manager card, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work
• Local or within commuting distance to Coventry

Contract Details
