Qualifications

• Experience in a Hygiene Manager, Hygiene Lead, Technical or Food Safety role within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene systems and audit standards.
• Ability to manage suppliers and drive standards.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of site hygiene standards and sanitation programmes.
• Management of hygiene chemicals, consumables, equipment and suppliers.
• Conducting internal hygiene audits and corrective actions.

Skills

Experience in Hygiene Manager or Food Safety role

Strong knowledge of hygiene systems

Microbiology knowledge

Proven ability to lead teams

Organized and improvement-focused mindset

Education

Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline

HACCP / Food Safety qualifications (Level 3 or 4 preferred)

Tools

Knowledge of BRCGS and HACCP

COSHH or chemical handling knowledge
