Site Engineer – Station Upgrade West London

Salary: £30k - £35k + pkg (negotiable)

Location: West London

Regions: London, Middlesex

We are currently working with a leading main contractor on a newly awarded portfolio of Station Upgrades across West London. This will include general station upgrade packages, platform construction and extensions, bridge installations and associated civil engineering works.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
  • At least 1 year site experience, ideally within Rail or Station Upgrade projects
  • PTS and CSCS Cards (desirable)
  • Main contractor experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and with company health & safety policy on all sites under control
  • Oversee quality control on site for all aspects of the works
  • Ensure Traffic Management arrangements are in accordance with the relevant traffic management plans
  • Managing all aspects of the works on site on a daily basis
  • Setting out all elements of works
  • Surveying constructed works for as-built drawings
  • Monitoring and recording progress on site and assisting in updating the works programme
  • Management of material deliveries on site and checking quality of materials
  • Supervising sub-contractors works on site
  • Attend regular site meetings with construction team, design team and client
  • Monitoring site costs and ensuring project operates within budget
  • Maintaining daily site records and testing records
